After see the a quick glimpse of the Fisker Karma two weeks ago driving in Irvine, I thought it was just being in the right place at the right time. But after seeing the same car again driving on the same block two weeks later, one could definitely assume they are testing the vehicle(s) in this area. Yes, it almost seems cliche to have a test vehicle matte black, but I think it wears it well. It is a cool looking car, too.
