Voting Question: Traffic on California Highway CA 91-E?

Hello, I've heard some horrific stories about how bad the traffic is on CA 91W during rush hours in the morning/evenings. However, it is as bad driving on CA 91E during work hours as well? My wife and I will be moving out of Redlands, CA to somewhere close to Irvine and I've decided to do the commute to Redlands. I've been assuming that the drive wouldn't be too bad since I consider the drive on 91E (from Irvine to Redlands) to be 'against the rush hour traffic'. Can someone please advise? Thanks, Ranjit...
